🔬 NDTL Scientist ‘E’ Recruitment 2026 – Government Job The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), Government of India has invited applications for 1 vacant Scientist ‘E’ post on Deputation including Short-Term Contract basis. 🏛️ Organization: National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) 📌 Advertisement No.: 03/2026 📅 Advertisement Date: 03 October 2026 💼 Post: Scientist ‘E’ 🔢 Total Vacancy: 01 👥 Classification: Group ‘A’ 📍 Location: New Delhi 💰 Salary / Pay Scale 💵 ₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900 per month 📊 Pay Level: 13 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. 🎓 Eligibility / Qualification Candidates applying on deputation/short-term contract basis must be officers from: ✅ Central Government ✅ State Government ✅ Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) ✅ Autonomous Bodies The candidate should satisfy the prescribed service conditions: 🔹 Hold an analogous post on a regular basis, OR 🔹 Have 5 years of regular service in Pay Level 12 (₹78,800–₹2,09,200) AND 🎓 PhD in Chemical / Biological / Pharmaceutical Sciences in relevant fields from a UGC/AICTE-recognized University/Institute. 🧪 Experience Required Candidates must have: 🔹 10 years of post-doctorate experience in research & development and/or scientific activities in the relevant area of drug analysis. 🔹 Out of this, 2 years must be in a responsible capacity involving scientific administration, planning/designing, execution, management, direction of scientific research/technological programmes and related matters. ⭐ Desirable Experience Preference/desirable qualifications include: 🔬 Experience in drug analysis / sports dope testing 📋 Experience in Quality Management System as per ISO/IEC 17025 and quality assurance processes 📚 High-standard research work demonstrated through publications in reputed journals 💊 Knowledge of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. 🎂 Age Limit 👤 Maximum Age: 56 years The age limit applies as on the closing date for receipt of applications. 📋 Job Responsibilities The selected Scientist ‘E’ will be responsible for: 🔹 Overseeing NDTL activities and representing NDTL internationally through involvement with WADA activities. 🔹 Planning new areas in analytical testing related to human doping. 🔹 Supervising refinement of analytical techniques according to WADA requirements. 🔹 Guiding scientists and technical staff. 🔹 Guiding research activities in anti-doping science. 🔹 Handling administrative and miscellaneous NDTL work. 🔹 Managing, supervising and leading a team of around 35 scientists in a specialized anti-doping analytical environment. 📝 Selection / Recruitment Method 📌 Composite Method: ➡️ Deputation, including Short-Term Contract / Promotion.
